Re: [PLUG] Looking for help with Chrome on lubuntu 14.04 trusty i386

Bashing others in general is unattractive.  I’m often amazed at how negative this list gets about things non-Linux.  I realize some of you are joking but not all of you.

I know many capable Linux/UNIX people that use either a Windows or OSX by choice.  I’ve learned a ton working with Windows/OSX people.  I use Linux/UNIX daily for a living and for fun but I became a non-Linux desktop person years ago after tiring of running Linux on a laptop.

How about we keep an open mind about what other operating systems, be they open or closed source?

Oh, right, because Windows users never bash on Mac people?

I wasn't speaking of Mac users, you're changing the subject. :-)

It's all about the perceived enemy, and most Windows users aren't really aware of Linux.

No, that's where you're wrong. There is no "enemy". That's the point.

And yes, Windows people who disparage Macs without knowing anything about that OS are just as wrong. But how does someone else doing something wrong have any bearing on what we are talking about?
