I haven't used or seen a Mikrotik in awhile but I can't recall any major issues with it.  I'd say go for it.

Not to hijack the thread, but has anyone had any experience with Mikrotik ? i've been eying the RB3011, and it's kinda nice and not terribly expensive for what you get.

My routers (Linksys WRT54G models) have Tomato, which is the only firmware I'm familiar with.  When one dies, I'll probably want something more modern and it sounds like a Buffalo model would be great, especially if the OSS firmware is preinstalled or trivial to flash.
