I deploy Ubiquiti products for clients and while the Edgerouters are nice, they do not do wifi. You would need to add some Unifi access points to get the full solution. Different management philosophy for commercial grade wireless and more then $100 when its all put together.
The web UI's on the Edgerouters are also horrible on mobile and other small screens. On June 30, 2017 6:13:55 AM EDT, Russ Wenner <russwenner@gmail.com> wrote:On the "Security Now" podcast they often speak positively about the "Ubiquiti Edgerouter X". I personally do not own one but it's on my Amazon "Wish List" :-) They seem to go for around $70 or less.Manufacturer's LinkManufacturer's Data Sheet--RussOn Fri, Jun 30, 2017 at 5:59 AM, Rich Freeman <r-plug@thefreemanclan.net> wrote:On Thu, Jun 29, 2017 at 11:33 PM, KP <kperry@daotechnologies.com> wrote:

My understanding is that they generally all support installing
OpenWRT, however, and in my case I remember it wasn't particularly
difficult to do. You are correct that it typically isn't stock.
