After buying some really nice micro USB cables from Anker I can understand not
wanting to replace everything. After I got the Pixel 2 which is USB C, I
just bought some adapters similar to these:

https://www.amazon.com/Adapter-JSAUX-Aluminum-Connector-Keychain/dp/
B0791DSZ94/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1538868012&sr=8-7&keywords=usb-c+adapter
+jsaux&dpID=51Ec8c2buEL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch

The little lanyard is nice because when I need to use micro USB (which is
still most of my devices), I can attach the adapter to the wire so that it
doesn't get lost. Going with the adapters is cheaper and allows you to still
have access to both USB types.
