Just to throw out something else...   I also use xrdp with my Guacamole deployment.  That works very well too.

Thanks, but as I said I'm using the solution suggested by the IT guy
at my large organization, and it's working fine. Most people have
Windows boxes and use Windows Remote Desktop. I was looking for
something similar and found it. Why would I even consider Horizon
View?
