Besides those two, Indeed is also pretty decent, I got some good interviews thru there the last time I was out job hunting two years ago although in the end the position I wound up accepting was one I found on Linkedin (where I have also just added Michael as a contact).

This is great advice and is something I did last time around. Would also suggest some sort of "demo/portfolio" site like a personal blog with some projects you're working on or a public Git repo, most recruiters won't ever look at these but it could come in super handy once you make it past the phone screening and talk to the hiring manager.

I get a lot of overtures because I have that and SIEM as keywords; and there is a strong urge to marry that with ML/AI and other automated analysis.

You are going to get a lot of low-quality responses from offshore lead-generating recruiters, try to skip those and concentrate on local firms that have good relations with local employers.
