I suppose I don't communicate with many businesses because I don't
think I've ever seen anyone do this. I'm looking at the email for a VP
of a biomed company I do interact with, and his signature is all
text -- his title, phone numbers, company URL, etc.

So when you said "set my signature with an image", I naturally assumed
you meant that your signature would be an image. I had no idea what
this would be for, so it didn't really matter to me whether it was
an image of you or your company's logo. I don't see how it matters for
the solution either.

At any rate, based on that URL I posted in my previous email it
certainly seems possible to do what you want in Thunderbird, but it
might not be as easy as you'd like.

Since I'm not sure if I've ever seen anyone do this, I don't know how
it's implemented. If possible I'd probably add an IMG tag pointing to
a jpeg of the logo instead of embedding the image itself in every
email I send.
