I want to get a "landline" for home. I don't want to give out my cell
phone number unless absolutely necessary. I therefore thought I'd get
a cheap VOIP service as a "trash" number. I don't need to port an
existing phone number, and I naturally don't want to pay much.
I've seen Ooma, which requires a $80 box and then costs bout $4/month
for taxes and fees. Anybody try one of these? Any other suggestions?
