[PLUG] the challenge (temp) |
It's amazing what eats memory. Epiphany, for one. I shut it down and put everything in Pale Moon. Big difference. It was only used for 2 tabs. Claws is delightfully light, albeit weird to me. Because it won't do gmail, Pale Moon has to. There are a few strange things... supposed to be an html mail plugin. There isn't. I only use it on 2 messages a day. You know the "return to message list" function of other clients? This just keeps a window open with no content when I delete something. Lotsa plugins, though. I'll go back to Thunderbird, but Claws had its place. [specs] Xubuntu 18.04 Intel Core2 Duo P9400 @ 2.4GHz 2G RAM at some point, I thought this machine was the bees' knees. There is much more than a 4" difference between a 17" and 13" monitor. As for the Sys76, it's going to Sys76 to be looked at. At very least it's a broken hinge and bezel. Interesting, as I never shut the lid. Now I find out I can't take off expenses for anything I've done for my campaign for Left Handed History and Recognition Month. Everybody has a month but us.
