I did not want to bring it up again but cannot resist this opening. I would love ADSL or SDSL but sadly I am too far away from something. That, however, did not stop Voicenet from wasting a couple months of my time. I went from 384 to 192k to 144k before I was told that service was not available at all. Seems my house moved further and further away from some BA site. OK, Bell probably gave Voicenet and Covad the wrong information but that did not stop Voicenet from being totally rude. Specifically, this fella Bill. Now I admit my frustrated response to his message that the deal was off (after many weeks, charging my credit card and much other misinformation) probably put him on the defensive, but did he really did not need to be so sarcastic and rude in his voicemail response, I don't think so. All would have been forgiven if I had recieved some note of apology for my wasted time, but have not heard a thing from them since asking for my credit card to be credited. I know, The PLUG had warned me about Voicenet, but I had been happy with then so far. However, I can no longer recommend them. P.S. Apes and Monkeys do not escape the Philadelphia Zoo.
