Hi All,

PLUG is the Philadelphia Linux Users Group, and not a Linux distribution users
group.  It does not matter what distribution that you choose to use, but the
important thing is that the distribution that you are using meets your needs and
desires.  

With Linux you have a huge choice of options about everything, whereas in some
other operating systems you get what you get.  Also there are minor differences
between distributions, but most of the config files will be found in /etc.  If
you know one distribution, then you can work on any of the distributions that
are currently available.

So I see the petty argument that my distribution is better than your should not
even be discussed on this list.  We are all Linux users and that is our common
bond.  Some like RedHat, while others like Slakware or Debian.  But the main
theme should be for helping the person who is having difficulty with their
system or a program.

Let's rise above our differences and concentrate on our strengths and likeness.
