[PLUG] cd ripping single floppy linux distribution ?

A friend just asked me about windows cd ripping programs. Of course, I
know of none. I am also very confident that Linux's cd ripping
capabilities are far superior to anything that windows can do.

I think it'd be rather neat to build a single floppy linux distrubtion
including cdparanoia, lame, and ripit (cli interface to the 2 that does
cdda) -- I think it'd be great for introducing people to linux.

Freshmeat has a whole index of single floppy linux distributions at
http://freshmeat.net/appindex/console/mini%20distributions.html. I didn't
see one for cd ripping.

I found a package to automate the building of a single floppy linux
distribution: http://get.to/byld/.

Do any of you know any more info that might be helpful ? Wanna help me
make it happen ?
