There are so many PLUGs all over the Interesting that you mention this. From http://www.PhillyLinux.org/history.html: 12/1995 Chris Fearnley announces the Philadelphia Linux User's Group in a Philadelphia Area Computer Society (PACS) Databus article: The Philadelphia Area Linux User's Group (Philly-LUG) is ^^^^^^^^^^ now forming! Meetings will be held every Tuesday evening (Beginning December 5) from 7-9 PM at the High Wire Gallery, 137 N 2nd ST. The Gallery is charging us $10 for the evening and the price will be divided among attendants (So if we get 20 people to attend, the price will be $0.50/person). The group is a spin off from PACS' Unix SIG - the exact relationship with PACS has yet to be worked out. Thanks to Shemu-ail Ben-Mosh (shemuail@netaxs.com) for agreeing to coordinate the meetings and for finding a cheap space. -- Bill Jonas | "In contrast to the What You See Is What You bill@billjonas.com | Get (WYSIWYG) philosophy, UNIX is the You http://www.billjonas.com/ | Asked For It, You Got It operating system." http://www.debian.org/ | --Scott Lee, as quoted by Lamb and Robbins ______________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group - http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements-http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mail/listinfo/plug
