That good! I don't really know how many people out there are using
Linux, so it's good to hear about the spread of it. I am also
encouraged by the continual stream of new faces at the PLUG meetings.

Scheduling an exam is no problem at all. I just went to the VUE web
site, picked out the testing site closest to me (given a list when you
give them country, state, city) told it where I wanted to take the
test, I was then given the available times based on what day I wanted to
take it. I could have taken the exam almost anytime! There really
didn't seem to be anything stopping me booking an exam for, say, 2 days
time. I arrived on the day about an hour early, I didn't have to wait
to take the exam. The receptionist where I went took me straight
through the procedures.

BTW, I did find that the test (I thought) was hard. I remember one
question was displayed as multiple answer question (pick any/all of the
following). I could swear that only 1 was the answer. The test DOES
give you the ability to go back over any/all the questions again before
ending the test. I had another look that question after the test,
managed to find another possibility (2 answers). On another question, I
swore that none of the answers were correct! The study book I used did
go some distance towards preparing me, but hands on experience I found
also helped somewhat. Especially since I didn't trust the book
sometimes (being ambiguous, or just plain wrong).

The test gives you 1 1/2 hours to complete it. I thought I'd have to
rush through the questions, but found myself getting ahead of the time,
so I slowed down, took my time. I finished the exam in about an hour,
then spent 20 minutes reviewing the "iffy" questions. I passed....,
not 100% though!!!

One downside to the test results. Although you get the results
immedialty (which I gather is different from when the tests when beta),
you don't get a list of what you got wrong (like I used to get from
Novell exams, and I gather MS exams). I was rather disappointed by
that.
