Read the agreement closely if you intend to work from home. Comcast@Home doesn't allow VPN use (according to their agreement) since they subsidize their income by aggregating your web traffic and selling the information to marketing groups. For the curious: http://www.comcastonline.com/clr-agreement-v3.pdf Section 5 is your privacy, 6.b.viii is "no VPN" (which, while protecting you from their inability to secure the shared network - section 9 - would also prevent them from gathering the information for section 5). They do have Comcast Work@Home (or something like that) that allows VPN use, but also costs another $50(?) per month. If you do work from home and your work environment suddenly decides that VPNs are necessary to do so, you could experience a gouge in your wallet. andrew.
