I've listed myself on several job sites as interested strictly in doing Unix system administration or coding C or C++ in a Unix environment and I've had to explain to no fewer than ten (different) headhunters over the past year that I was hoping for a three month contract spanning June to September, as I was still a student. And yes, they really were offering Unix system administration or coding positions, unless they were flat-out lying to me. (Here's a tip for any PLUG member who's in the same situation: only bother doing this to get experience dealing with headhunters. They will *never* send you out on an interview if you're a full time student. They will, on the other hand, want names of your friends in the graduating class. This is why we call them headhunters.) -- ~ g r @ eclipsed.net Attachment:
