Thanks for your help. As you suggested, the ISP just sent the message
to all their customers. They had instructions for changing it on
Windows, but I didn't recognize that they were talking about Dialup
Networking, because it's called something else in French (I forget
what).

It does, but they said they were turning off the old numbers on the
15th, which is what also threw me off.
