No, the hardware router... which is hopefully NOT running FreeBSD
4.3 because it's an embedded system. (If, rather, the campus's pipe
is coming through a *software* firewall/gateway, that's a wholly
separate class of problem...)

We've had problems with Intels randomly forgetting arp entries.
