Re: [PLUG] kernel patching

My first patch failed. 2.4.10 to 2.4.11. Does it make a difference
that I'm using the kernel-source RPM off of the RH 7.2 CD?

/usr/src/patch contains the patches 2.4.11 to 2.4.18

/usr/src/linux is a symlink to /usr/src/linux-2.4

In the /usr/src/linux directory I ran a command like "zcat
../patch/patch-2.4.11.gz | patch -p1 -s"

Did I use the proper "-p" number?

It asks where files are, it writes a bunch of .rej files, and it
prompts for reverse something. (My battery was getting low so I just
shut down.)

What's up with this?
