I wonder if their setup software would run with Wine?  I know its pretty far 
out there, but afaik it is just a serial emulator over a ethernet device, and 
both of those things are known to work on wine.

I am sure you have better things to do with your life than abuse wine, but hey 
it may save you a windows install. ;)
