Re: [PLUG] toasted video card

QUESTIONS: What is everybody else use/recommend for AGP video cards under
Linux? My primary concern is that it's a good image at high resolution
and the cost is reasonable.

Advice welcome!

The card that I chose recently was a nVIDIA GeForce2 Titanium with 64MB of RAM and dual-head output. $64 including shipping.

A card that worked very well under Red Hat was an ATI Rage Fury with 32MB RAM. I had a Diamond Stealth S220 with 4MB of RAM which also worked well.

Check http://www.pricewatch.com for prices. It should be easy to find a good card for $40 or less. An older model should be plenty powerful enough for business apps and moderate graphics.
