It used to by you could get DSL over a dry pair, meaning a line without phone service connected. This isn't offered as a primary product anymore, but maybe some providers still do it. Russell, Are you planning no phone service at all? You can also get high speed internet (It's not ADSL, but named RADSL, IIRC) from Cavalier, but I think you have to get a voice line also. There are some notes in an older message here: http://kevb.net:3000/lurker/message/20030514.173131.260c8048.html . And you've found http://broadbandreports.com already? It's a great place to do internet access searches. -- Kevin Brosius ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
