Guys, what is the purpose of continuing this thread like this? If the goal is to convince Mr. Sheridan that his business is unethical and he should drop it, I think we are unlikely to succeed. We might, however, convince him not to interact with us in the future. We might, too, through the archives or through word of mouth, convince others not to make such offers in the future. I think we would be poorer for it. And, as linux advocates, would we rather he find a Windows programmer instead? Mr. Sheridan has mentioned that he has an opportunity for someone with skills that might be found here to make some money legally. We are not here for our legal expertise, and the one notable lawyer on the list has already weighed in pointing out that the activity in question is probably legal. I think it's great that we sometimes get employment offers on the list. We get them because we've made a policy of accepting them. Could we perhaps also make a policy of not judging them when they do arrive? If something is not to your taste, just hit delete or whatever and move on.
