For us it would be a chance to expand on projects we don't normally have time to work on and aren't top priority, and for the intern it would be an experience/resume builder, but we are going to offer some salary. I just don't know what that is :-) gyoza@comcast.net said: > What's wrong with the idea of temporarily hiring a non-student worker? > I'm sure there are plenty of people who need a job, even if it's > temporary. Some people are only looking to get current experience. I'd hire someone in that position, as long as they understood that it probably wouldn't be leading to a full time position and wouldn't be paying a lot. I also don't want to be left high and dry if the person finds a full time job while working for me. ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
