nano is meant to be a drop-in replacement for pico.  Pico is not exactly
completely Free software (same license as Pine).  I don't really know or
care to know the specifics of why ;p.  So yes, nano has all the same
keystrokes and such, just different source code behind the scenes and a
different license.
