It's not all that surprising to me. The sender's made 3 other posts to the list over the last month or so, all for various job offerings. If they haven't joined in any of the discussions so far, it seems unlikely they'd start now. I honestly don't see why this bothers you so much. It seems like a legitimate company, at least from their website.
