That would make it still good, imo, but not a truely new language like I had expected.  AFAI can tell anyone with real Scheme or Lisp experience could have written the new macros I saw on the tutorial at the ARC site and called it a new language. 
They look nice enough, but not 'wow, it's a new, cool language' nice.
I also mentioned it because the tutorial/intro seemed worth reading if you want to know more about Scheme or Lisp.

My apologies. I assumed that the "looks just like scheme :(" was a statement of disapproval for the syntax. I must have missed your earlier post.

It's purpose is to be a better Lisp. The problems with Lisp are NOT
that there are too many parentheses, in fact the simple syntax is a
huge win.
