Maybe the NBC execs who are supposed to know that stuff aren't so smart after all. What I liked about the Olympics of the '60s and '70s was the ability to watch sports you don't normally see, like the aforementioned martial arts, fencing, horse jumping, shot put, etc. Somehow, I doubt Americans only like gymnastics and swimming. I like the beach volleyball by the way. Besides the barely clothed and fit competitors, its nice to watch the athletes compete against each other instead of just clocks and judges, the latter of which I find boring. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) iQCVAwUBSKL600LG/oYII0YuAQKTawP+KBp0KLLkbfCm24g2CWSAPnXc1lBGfiM3 JeJXYynih2g08Nmvli/VHiepdsSb6L2Iw4uY/Dha2C4Xa0W67HtnZYWY9tXiLc7S FQCrDmPEj6M9aDb1OB1DdetdAmbIpIIHYNwfBE79cRfzt1Aa5irrs4hRnGpkr2Yv 1oLTtKlb6j4= =XzB1 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ___________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.phillylinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug
