I hate to say this, but I've yet to find a decent replacement for
Google Calendar, and MS Exchange Server is of course far more
functional than that.

For all my gripes about the limitations of IMAP it is light years
ahead of anything that exists for calendaring.  It must be some kind
of rule that people stop creating RFCs/standards/etc once they leave
college and get a real job.
