As long as I am in town, it's usually not a problem for me to bring the projector though obviously if someone else can arrange it, I won't complain. Do we have anyone that has Metricom's fast wireless service yet? It's only around $80 per month, flat rate, unlimited usage, as far as I know. That's correct, and that's why I haven't gotten it yet. I want it like the original release out in CA, where you could choose unlimited flat or per-use. I'm not out of my apt/office enough to warrant $80/mo, but when I AM out, I'd love to have it!! I used it out here in CA when it first came out, and it's great! The guy who invented and implemented the software protocols is a friend of mine (and now the head networking guy at Apple ;). I've seen it work fine in cars, though never tried it on a train. It's been on the Left Coast for several years, and came to Philly only recently. I've heard it doesn't work very well while in transit, but otherwise OK.
