I've been on about it at work for about six months.  My boss rolls his eyes 
(mainly to annoy me - he also brags about using XP at home for this 
reason). My boss' boss was impressed by my use of the term ROI.

As for job security, yeah, I love Bill Gates.  If it weren't for his 
bug-ridden, omnipresent software, who knows what I'd be doing (all the rock 
star slots were filled when I applied).

Otoh, as long as there are users, there will be a need for support.  If I 
created a linux box that looked *just like* W98 or W2k, they'd still be 
confused.  Of course I'd have to find a way to make it crash for no 
apparent reason, but I'll blow up that bridge when I come to it.

Oh, the irony.
