justify more jobs on the commercial side as well. However, most of the linux advocates seem to be those who's jobs would be threatened if linux really caught on. I've been on about it at work for about six months. My boss rolls his eyes (mainly to annoy me - he also brags about using XP at home for this reason). My boss' boss was impressed by my use of the term ROI. As for job security, yeah, I love Bill Gates. If it weren't for his bug-ridden, omnipresent software, who knows what I'd be doing (all the rock star slots were filled when I applied). Otoh, as long as there are users, there will be a need for support. If I created a linux box that looked *just like* W98 or W2k, they'd still be confused. Of course I'd have to find a way to make it crash for no apparent reason, but I'll blow up that bridge when I come to it. Oh, the irony.
