When I originally setup with verizon tech support they gave me all the
parameters. I have changed distriubutions a few times, and subsequently
used DHCP to handle the connection between the router and my machine. In
the case of a Suse distribution, using DHCP, the Yast setup of the nick
card clearly shows the 192.168.1.1 and "myhome.westell.com" for the
domain. These days when I setup the nic in Suse I pick the address I
want( in the case of this computer-192.168.1.46). The name server[1 and
2]for all my machines is 192.168.1.1 and the domain search is
myhome.westell.com. I imagine since we are both dealing with Verizon,
it should be similar or the same. Perhaps "myhome.actiontech.com" for
domain search would work for you. HTH, cheers
Stewart

Sorry if this turns out to be a double post, but Verizon seems to be
having some trouble. I sent the original over an hour ago and it still
has not shown up on the list.
