I agree that Harmony is your answer. But I'd figure I'd add this note for people who use xbmc/kodi stuff. I use a thing called Flirc which is a programmable IR receiver that plugs into your usb port. It translates the mapped IR signals to keystrokes (when you plug in the device it registers as a keyboard to the system). Then I got an old/unused remote and ran the easy mapping program.  (

I just ordered a Harmony, so I guess I'll be covered.   it would be much
