It's a dhcp setup now, it used to be just static setup, but now they link your MAC address to your dhcp lease. So, yes, if you swap NICs, you have to either call them or send them an email letting them know about it. OTOH, I've never had to wait more than a half hour or so for that to take effect.

The change only takes about 10 minutes once you get a tech on the phone.

The problem is when you can't get a tech on the phone "after hours" -- you're out of luck until Monday morning.
