(It's got some irritating decisions... especially the placement of escape. But that's as easily remappable as my home-row control key.) I absolutely love my kinesis. It was expensive, but the keys have excelent feel to them, and I spend enough of my day using it that it was well worth the expense. Also, once I got used to the cup-shaped layout, regular keyboards began to feel just plain awkward. I agree with you on the placement of the escape key. They obviously didn't have emacs/vi users in mind when they did that. However, one really nice thing about the kinesis is that it puts the ctrl and alt keys on the thumb clusters. Setup one of the alts as meta and you are good to go. -- Will Dyson "Back off man, I'm a scientist!" -Dr. Peter Venkman _________________________________________________________________________ Philadelphia Linux Users Group -- http://www.phillylinux.org Announcements - http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug-announce General Discussion -- http://lists.netisland.net/mailman/listinfo/plug
